Permaculture on the Ecosite

What Permaculture is

"A science and an art that aims to develop ethical, sustainable and robust human ecosystems which will integrate in harmony with nature" (S. Read)

PERMACULTURE is a holistic and systemic DESIGN TOOL based on 3 main ethical principles :

RondPiedTerre1
  • RESPECT OF THE EARTH
  • RESPECT OF THE LIVING BEINGS
  • CREATE ABUNDANCE and REDISTRIBUTE THE SURPLUS

Permaculture is more than a simple farming approach or « alternative gardening ».
It is a state of mind, a look at the world, our environment, our operations, our relationships. In Permaculture, ethics and principles are universal and inherent to any project, at the individual and local level as well as at the collective and global level.

We use methods and tools to analyse and design landscapes where humanity can meet its needs, without destroying its environment and running out natural resources. We will reconsider our ways of life by exploring our connection to food production, distribution of resources, ecology, individuals, and the social structure. We look for ways to repair, improve existing ones by using appropriate, new or ancestral techniques, and how to adjust systems by encouraging beneficial relations. We work on soil, climate, water, plants, animals, energy, habitat, city and human relations.

We have linked the permaculture approach to studies in FENG SHUI, a Chinese-inspired art of living that seeks harmony in the relationship between human and its environment. We wanted to mix these two approches to bring a practical and energetic coherence and to create fluidity in the functioning of the Ecosite.

Permaculture & Feng Shui

Permaculture and Feng Shui are two complementary approaches,
which aim to fix easily the relations between human and nature.
